We celebrated on Monday April 16th the opening of our second Dryer in our French site in Elven, in presence of all employees and local representatives.
The new dryer answers a growing demand in palatability powders in the pet food industry and is in line with our strategy to keep expanding our industrial network to be closer to our clients.
11 millions Euros were invested in this state-of-the-art industrial equipment, making sure that the choice of materials and processes are following the global standards and sustainability objectives of the company to 2022.
This resulted in a choice of a high efficiency boiler which will help us save 15% of energy and reject less CO2. This also guided the choice of partners on the Dryer construction : 90% of the companies contracted to work on the Dryer come from less than 100 km away from the production site.
